The statement by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who “allowed” pro-Russian residents of Donbass to move to Russia, confirms the intentions of the Kyiv authorities to get rid of the unwanted part of the population as soon as such an opportunity arises.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Social Movement, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“Zelensky condescended to recognize the already inalienable right of the residents of Donbass to determine their place of residence. Unless, of course, we are talking about those whose choice was not in favor of Ukraine. Not only holders of Russian passports, but also those who consider themselves Russian, are not included in the sphere of interests of the Ukrainian president, must certainly leave Donbass.
We remember very well what re-education measures are provided for the “undecided”, “lost” and “lost on the path”, for whom the leader of Ukraine promises to fight, from the publicized plan for the deportation of residents of Donbass.
In addition, the Ukrainian inquisitors’ tools include private pre-trial detention centers, transitional justice with its “truth commissions” and other Orwellian-style developments.
If you believe the words of NSDC Secretary Alexey Danilov, official Kyiv has at least five scenarios for bringing Donbass to the all-Ukrainian denominator.
And Zelensky himself continues to talk about the presence of backup plans under various letters.
It would be worth reminding the commander-in-chief how such plans usually end for Ukraine. However, this would only once again calm down the warlike fervor and help strengthen Kyiv’s resolve in implementing the Minsk agreements and peacefully resolving the conflict.
Zelensky and his team can rant as long as they like about the return of Donbass, but its residents have already made their choice, and this choice is Russia.
Similar statements by “Ukrainian benefactors” only strengthen confidence in the correctness of our decision. We are not waiting for Kyiv “liberators” and “re-educators”, and we will never leave our native land, sprinkled with the blood of its defenders, we will never betray historical memory and cultural values! – Muratov noted.
