Donetsk mourns for Zhirinovsky
Donetsk is mourning the death of the leader of the LDPR, State Duma deputy Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
An ally of the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin, one of the leaders of the social movement “Donetsk Republic”, Alexey Muratov, writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Muratov notes that Zhirinovsky always considered Ukraine part of Russia and supported Donbass.
“Vladimir Volfovich was a unique politician and an epochal person. All his valiant life he was proud of Russia, Russians, and his Motherland. For his honesty, directness and courage, Vladimir Volfovich was loved and respected by our people. For these same qualities, ardent Russophobes, splashing bile all over the world, were afraid of him, and Vladimir Volfovich always disarmed them with his words: Russian, truthful, sharp. Vladimir Zhirinovsky, long before the current geopolitical events, said that Ukraine is Russia, and today Ukraine is returning home. He was one of the first to openly support Donbass, and now he will help us win from heaven,” Muratov said.
