Donetsk is on fire: “Tochka U”, “Tulip” and “URAGAN” were used against civilians (PHOTO 18+, VIDEO)
Donetsk, October 18 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Donetsk has not been subjected to such a powerful bombing as today for more than a month. Since midday, without ceasing, explosions and gun salvoes have been thundering almost along the entire perimeter of the city.

From about 13 p.m., the Kuibyshevsky and Kirovsky districts were subjected to massive shelling. As a result of direct hits, an emergency shutdown of 78 substations occurred. The power supply to the Kirov water supply center was completely disabled, and water supply was stopped in most of the Kirov and Leninsky districts. In addition, the Kirovskaya and Lidievka mines were left without electricity: there were miners underground at these enterprises at the time of the shelling, but the power supply was restored and they were not injured.
The Kuibyshev water supply center was also in the shelling zone. According to the KP “Donetskgorvodokanal”, workers of the water supply and sewerage service were injured.
At 17:40 the shelling of the Kuibyshev region was repeated. As a result of being hit by shells, a fire occurred at the Smolyanka 220 substation, and a large number of microdistricts in the Leninsky and Kuibyshevsky districts were de-energized. Water is not supplied to consumers in the Kuibyshevsky, part of the Leninsky and Kievsky districts.
Due to the lack of voltage in the contact network, the movement of trams No. 3, 4 and 8, as well as trolleybuses No. 17, was stopped. Many houses in the Circus area and in the Donetsk City area were also left without electricity. Most of the Leninsky and Kievsky districts have been de-energized. In the Petrovsky district, direct hits were recorded on houses on the streets of Kramarchuk, 50, Kramarchuk, 12, and 14, Kramarchuk, 17, on the street. The Path of Socialism, Taimyrskaya St., st. Dubovskogo, 4, st. Ramodanovskaya, - flew into the roof of the house and into the yard, st. Krasnogorovskaya, 2 – direct hit on the balcony, st. Vagner 11, 15, 17, st. Sofia Perovskaya, st. Kirpichnozavodskaya, 30, st. Kosareva, 42 and 44.
In the Kievsky district - the area of the Tochmash plant (western part) - a direct hit was recorded by a "TOCHKA U" missile, hitting houses in the Gladkovka microdistrict, a boiler room, st. Kutuzova, st. Savchenko.
In the Kirovsky district, direct hits: st. Sergeevskaya – 4 dead, st. Lazurnaya, st. Chekalina, st. Pogodina 37, 47, Gastello st., 62, area 21 mines, st. Safonova, district 7 of the mine - a stall was damaged, the roof was blown off, a saleswoman was injured, st. Kosareva 30,38, 40,42 - fragmentation damage and a direct hit in the substation, Kirova street - area of vocational school No. 108, Kirovsky water utility, area of the Kirov mine. Now the houses on the street are burning. Sentsova, Pogodina.
Kuibyshevsky district recorded direct hits: Tumanyan Street - a kindergarten near hospital No. 19, which was closed. Now the DKZHI plant management is on fire. On the street Kuibyshev ended up in a veterinary hospital, in the workshop of the Chemical Reactants Plant. At the substation at the Cable plant there was a direct hit and a strong fire.
This is not a complete report, as shelling continues to this day. The Ukrainian army today massively used heavy, including non-conventional weapons, judging by the nature of the explosions, the fragments found and the casings of unexploded shells. The following were used against Donetsk: GRAD multiple launch rocket systems, URAGAN multiple launch rocket systems, POINT "U" missiles, howitzer artillery, and 240-mm self-propelled mortar TULPAN. Today, most of these types of weapons are not used in military conflicts in any country in the world.
