Residents of Donetsk do not yet know how the so-called “Day of Silence” announced today in the media will take place. But in Donetsk they know how it began - in the roar of heavy guns, the volleys of which shook the earth in the Kiev, Kuibyshev, Kirov, and Petrovsky regions.
The guns worked hard and terribly on December 8th. And there is no reason to believe that the “Day of Silence” on December 9, which began with the work of “hyacinths”, “hails” and “acacias”, will be different. The sad experience of all previous “truces” in Donbass tells its residents that the “silence” will not last long - exactly until the moment when the hand of the Ukrainian “cyborg” lowers a mine into the barrel of a mortar...
And anyway, the devil knows, what kind of Hollywood crap is this – “Day of Silence”? What are these beauties for? The elections are over, gentlemen Ukrainians, go and deal with your Vinnytsia rebels, there is a greater need for troops, the National Guard, and the “Right Sector” that we, Donetsk residents have “imagined.” Yes, we know that “Aidar” is already rushing there, but he will be uncomfortable there alone, without D-30 howitzers, without “Grads”, without self-propelled guns with 152 and 240 mm barrels. And there will be no effect if in the domain of Poroshenko (both senior and junior) “terrorists” do not fire at civilians, right? By the way, maybe there, in Vinnitsa, those three dozen tanks – a tank battalion – that were brought to the Kharkov region on the eve of the “peace negotiations”, on the eve of the “Day of Silence” are more needed. Of course, what kind of silence is there without tank diesel engines of 800 horses? There is no world without tanks - this hopelessly desperate truth was born not for the first time here, not in the Ukrainian-Donetsk war, but here it has acquired a special shade of cynicism - a clear shade of impunity and disregard for everything in the slightest degree suitable for trying to turn Ukraine around , and Donbass to peace.
PS All night before the start of the “Day of Silence,” the capital of the mining region listened to artillery of all calibers. It was apparently a “night of silence”...
