“Our cities, our settlements are being bombed and shelled with artillery. Right now in the Oktyabrsky district, in a bomb shelter, there are three hundred civilians who have accumulated there because their houses were being shelled from Grad missiles. Now we will evacuate from there. These are already three survivors. And there is still an unknown number of deaths. “I want to tell you that given this huge tragedy, we continue to call for peace in this land,” he said during a press conference.
“We are ready for consultations on a ceasefire. Those that were interrupted were then resumed in video mode. But all these consultations boiled down to a discussion of the problem of the downed plane. We hope that consultations will resume. We have information that, by agreement with the OSCE, consultations will begin again today. And I want to say again, we are for peace,” Alexander Borodai emphasized.
As Navigator reported, earlier video negotiations were held between the DPR and Kiev, with the participation of the OSCE and Russia, which concerned the issues of ensuring the safety of experts at the site of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing, as well as the transportation of the bodies of the dead.
