This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the DPR Andrei Purgin, Hromadske TV reports.

According to him, if Ukraine disconnects the region from its financial system, the hryvnia will last for 1-2 weeks. However, with the transition to the ruble, not everything is simple.

“In order to switch to the ruble, we need to conclude the appropriate agreements, since we also do not print the ruble,” Purgin noted.

He also believes that the first priority is to open the borders for Russians.

As Navigator reported, tomorrow a rally is being held in Donetsk at which they want to “seal the border” with Russia.

Let us remind you that from June Crimea completely switches to rubles.
