"Donetsk Republic" helps both veterans and children
Activists of the Public Headquarters for work with front-line areas during the “Donetsk Republic” movement, together with deputies of the People’s Council of the DPR, handed over tonometers and glucometers to residents of the Telmanovsky district, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported on the website of the “Donetsk Republic”.
“People have no opportunity to receive medical care; residents have to travel several kilometers to get to the hospital, which is located in the regional center. And the main category of citizens who live in these settlements are elderly citizens,” noted the head of the district, Alexander Spinul.
In the Donetsk Republic they say that “not everyone can afford to buy these expensive devices, and the lives of those who are forced to live with chronic diseases often depend on the timely receipt of important health data.”
Also, on the initiative of activists of the Public Headquarters for work with front-line areas of the “Donetsk Republic” movement, a real holiday was organized for Yasinovataya’s children; activists came to them and brought with them cheerful animators and sweet gifts.
“I took part in all the games and competitions and made a lot of new friends. I’m already looking forward to the next time when such a holiday is held for us, to take our minds off the constant shelling outside the window,” said Veronica, a participant in the event.
As part of the “Heroes” project of the OU “Donetsk Republic”, about 2019 children of DPR military personnel attended the holidays in November 140 alone.
