Donetsk, October 09 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The leader of the proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, believes that online voting can be organized in the elections of deputies of the People’s Council and the head of the DPR.

Thus, answering the question about whether residents of Avdiivka, which is under the control of the Ukrainian military, will be able to vote in the upcoming elections, the DPR Prime Minister replied: “You won’t believe it, but we have adopted some completely democratic American election tools, such as voting through Internet and other opportunities. So people will be able to participate in the elections.”
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Boris Litvinov said that elections of parliament and leadership of the republic will take place regardless of voter turnout.
