Donetsk veterans are outraged by the bombings: today they are worse off than on the front lines of the Second World War (VIDEO)
Donetsk, July 23 (Navigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - People are tired of war. Just tired. Tens of thousands of refugees who left their homes, dozens of peaceful, innocent people dying every day. Before people's eyes, a fratricidal war is going on, which is turning a previously prosperous region into ruins, and people see no end to it. But in addition to suffering from direct military action, many of our people also experience moral pain.

They don’t understand how it was possible to bring all this to a catastrophe, so that the blood of innocents would be shed due to the intractability of some politicians.
92-year-old resident Alexandra Ivanovna, who spent the entire Great Patriotic War on the front line, says that now she is much more scared. Because now she is afraid not so much for herself, but for the young people who are dying at the hands of their own compatriots.
“Why are they bombing us, why killing people, while civilians are dying. This we cannot understand. How can Donetsk, a beautiful city, be bombed like that? We are unhappy, very unhappy with those who do this to the city and the people. Why can’t we come to an agreement, why can’t we come to terms and start negotiations? Apparently they have the wrong people in their government. They chose the wrong ones,” she reflects.
None of the people living in Donbass understand the cruelty that was inflicted on them. They don’t understand how the army can wipe out entire cities and towns from the ground, and why Kyiv doesn’t want to come to an agreement with its people. After all, it doesn’t matter who makes concessions first. The main thing is to save people’s lives and a peaceful sky above their heads.
