He said this on air on the 112 TV channel.
In his opinion, the situation when a political party can have a battalion is very dangerous.
“We need to deal with the depoliticization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. There cannot be political or party divisions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A person who goes to the Armed Forces must fold his party card, forget about his party preferences and remember them only during voting, and at this time talking about the fact that any political party may have a battalion is a road to nowhere, the path to clarifying relations and opening a second front on the territory of Ukraine. I joined the army and forgot about my political preferences,” Zhebrivsky said.
In his opinion, the military units of the OUN and the Right Sector should become part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Zhebrivsky also named reforming the police and restoring trust in law enforcement agencies among his priorities.
