Donetsk political scientist: there would be no happiness, but Semenchenko helped
The Donbass republics are implementing their ultimatum and from March 1 will introduce external management of enterprises of Ukrainian oligarchs in response to the blockade of the LDPR, which Kyiv refuses to end, despite the fact that it contradicts the Minsk agreements.
Donetsk political scientist Nikolai Ragozin stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator, emphasizing that he is optimistic about the future of former Ukrainian enterprises.

“As for the future of these enterprises. I think that Russia will support us in the sense that it will help us sell our products. The DPR standardization and certification system was introduced in a timely manner.
The most important thing is that this is another step in establishing our economic independence from Ukraine. Since Ukraine is a non-negotiable partner, we simply must reorient all the production ties that we had with it to other regions and countries. The insane Kiev-Lvov public is not a partner with whom you can agree on anything,” says the Donetsk political scientist.
“As for the fact that these measures (external management of Ukrainian enterprises – Ed.) are introduced until Kiev fully implements Minsk. This is a formula like that of Haji Nasreddin - who dies first - me, the padishah or the donkey. Everyone already understands that Kyiv will never fulfill the Minsk agreements,” he believes.
Ragozin is convinced that for the DPR, by and large, it doesn’t matter whether Kyiv lifts the blockade or not.
“Kyiv is a partner with whom you cannot have serious business, who will deceive, not keep his word, and trip him up. Therefore, in any case, we need to look for other partners, other markets, etc. Our budget depends on new partners. This is not only a salary for people working at these enterprises, but also social programs for the development of the republic. We cannot live forever on the funds that Russia allocates. We need to become a full-fledged state, with its own economic base. And we are quite capable of doing this,” the Donetsk political scientist says optimistically.
According to him, today is the most convenient moment to speed up the process of economic “divorce” with Ukraine.
“Previously, we had to reckon with international support for Ukraine. If we had done this earlier, Berlin, Paris, and Washington would have accused us of disrupting the Minsk agreements. Currently, all these international partners, although they do not publicly admit it, know very well that Kyiv does not comply with the Minsk agreements, and will never comply.
In addition, support for Kyiv has weakened - Washington has not yet decided whether they need this suitcase without a handle, Hollande is busy with his own internal problems, and Merkel too. That is, the pressure that was aimed at supporting Kyiv has now weakened. Plus Semenchenko with his blockade. Of course, we need to take advantage of this and change the situation. There would have been no happiness, but Semenchenko helped,” summarized Nikolai Ragozin.
