Donetsk political scientist: Residents of Kiev-controlled territories are also our citizens
The program of support for residents of Kiev-controlled territories announced by the LDPR authorities is proof that the people’s republics consider all residents of Donbass their citizens.

“Despite the fact that part of the LPR and DPR is today controlled by Ukraine, we believe that this is part of our state. Accordingly, the people who live in these territories are our fellow citizens whom we remember and would like to take care of. This is why we have outlined a corresponding program.
As for specific areas: admission to our educational institutions for children from that territory is simplified; state certification is no longer required, as last year. They will be accepted based on the results of the certification they will undergo in their schools. These same children have the right to study on a budget, which in conditions of the economic crisis is very, very important for the children themselves and their parents.
As for treatment. The DPR Ministry of Health has already announced what documents are required, which medical institutions for which profile will provide free medical care to our fellow citizens.
And, of course, the act of social support for veterans of the Great Patriotic War is positive. Considering that in Ukraine, veterans cannot count not only on support, but even on basic respect for their feat. As you know, Ukraine now claims that it did not fight the fascist invaders at all, but was in some third dimension, neither on one side nor the other. Therefore, I think that this program to support veterans is very important from a political and moral point of view,” the expert noted.
