“Ukraine has not taken a single stupid step over the years. Not a single action was taken that would lead to an improvement in relations with Russia. There was not a single action that did not widen the gap. She did everything she could. There are a few steps left: break the agreement, break diplomatic relations, stop the railway connection, and that’s it,” Kopatko said.

He believes that the Russian government is not responding to these challenges, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There was not a single clear response. You will solve at least one issue regarding Donbass. At least make it clear to people what awaits them,” Kopatko said.
