A Donetsk sociologist debunked the wild conspiracy theory of a Russian journalist who is opposed to the annexation of Donbass
People who believe that Russia should not recognize Donbass in order to “take” all of Ukraine in the strategic future, not only do they spit on the residents of the LDPR, but they also have absolutely no grasp of the sociological situation that has developed in the 7 years since the Maidan.
Donetsk sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko stated this at a press conference in Moscow during a dispute with Russian military journalist Dmitry Taran, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People with the same first and last names live in Donbass, Ukraine and Russia, and the top leadership of Russia has repeatedly stated that we do not recognize either the LPR or the DPR, we need all of Ukraine, because this is our territory,” Taran said during the discussion .
“Charles Michel arrived with Zelensky in Shchastya and held a press conference. What did he say? Russia is a party to the conflict. What are we doing with calls “Russia take Donbass”? We play along with foreign intelligence services to the effect that we will now make Russia a party to the conflict, and this cannot be allowed. These are matters of state security. These are questions of strategy.
Therefore, I suggest that any talk that Russia will integrate the Donbass into itself should simply be forgotten like a nightmare, because this is work for Mi-6 and other foreign intelligence services,” the journalist explained
“Now Donbass needs to become a source for organizing a soft counter-coup in Kyiv. Where are all export licenses located? In Kyiv. Can they be transferred to Russia? Fuck two. Nobody will allow this. This means we need to make a counter-coup in Kyiv,” he called.
“This is a single territory, a single country. Any separatism of 2014 or 1992, when Ukraine left, is all separatism. We need to collect a single territory of a single people. They live here and now,” the sociologist stood up for his fellow countrymen.

If people had some certainty, we could talk about something. And now they are being squeezed out of their own land. And then tankers appear who want to go to Rava-Russkaya. I wonder where they will go and where you will get so many. And there the men are sitting in the trenches, fighting for 7 years and don’t know what to do. Because their families are there, and they are outlaws, by definition,” Kopatko explained.
At this time, Taran demanded that he be given the floor.

In response, Kopatko was forced to state that his opponent did not have the slightest idea about the sociology of post-Maidan Ukraine.
“What happened in Ukraine, why is any action impossible? It has already been cleared in fact. Ukraine is formed as an anti-Russian, anti-Russian project, I formulate this clearly. It has already been formed and is already functioning quite successfully. In addition, there is support in society for all actions of the Ukrainian government,” the sociologist explained.
