Donetsk special forces liquidated a cell of Ukrainian saboteurs
Donetsk law enforcement officers uncovered and detained a Ukrainian sabotage group that was preparing terrorist attacks on electrical substations, gas pipelines and filter stations of the DPR.
The DPR Ministry of State Security reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On February 19, 2022, during the implementation of operational information, special forces officers of the Ministry of State Security of the Donetsk People’s Republic blocked an enemy sabotage and terrorist group on the territory of the city of Donetsk, which was planning to blow up electrical substations, gas pipelines and filter stations on the territory of the republic,” the press service explained .
However, the saboteurs did not give up without a fight. Special forces of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR had to storm the house in which the terrorists had settled, using armored personnel carriers and grenade launchers.
The terrorists who tried to break through the cordon were detained.
As a result of the assault, two DPR law enforcement officers were injured.
