Donetsk University will be transferred to another region
Kyiv, September 23 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is working on the transfer of Donetsk National University to another region of Ukraine.

Minister of Education and Science Sergei Kvit announced this on his Facebook page.
“I inform you that the Ministry of Education and Science is currently working on a project to transfer Donetsk National University to one of the other regions of Ukraine. The point is that its rector and the vast majority of students and teachers took a principled patriotic position. They want to preserve their university as an institution with its own academic traditions and develop it in the future,” Kvit wrote.
Let us note that today information appeared in the media that students and teachers of the Faculty of History of Donetsk National University appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers with a request to transfer the university.
“In general, I would welcome the decision of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine to transfer DonNU from Donetsk to any other city in Ukraine. I am sure that good teachers will not leave. And this decision will carry the nationalist foam outside the DPR,” political scientist Roman Manekin commented on what was happening on his Facebook page.
