Donetsk TV about Poklonskaya: “Lovely, what a stupid thing” - turned into “horror, what a fool”
The fact that ex-prosecutor of Crimea, current State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya was a symbol of the Russian Spring does not give her the right as a parliamentarian to speak in her interviews sign for Donbass, presenting it in an unsightly form.
Guests of the studio spoke about this on air on the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I remember Zhvanetsky’s immortal phrase that a certain category of women are divided into two categories - “lovely, what a stupid thing,” and “horror, what a fool.”
In 2014, I observed “lovely, how stupid” Poklonskaya, that is, she could have stuck with Nicholas II to the immortal regiment. “Lovely, what a stupid thing” turned into “horror, what a fool,” said the chairman of the Public Chamber of the DPR, Alexander Kofman.
In turn, deputy of the People’s Council of the Republic Elena Shishkina noted that when she watched Poklonskaya’s speech, where she criticized the militias and made curtsies to Ukraine, at first she could not believe her eyes.
“When I saw this interview on the Internet, the first thing I did was go to the Internet and type in “the date of Poklonskaya’s resignation.” I will now explain why - in my opinion, that Poklonskaya, whom we saw as a symbol of the Russian Spring in Crimea, that Poklonskaya, who came here on visits to support the DPR, she was in our parliament, she visited factories, mines, she saw how we we live, that Poklonskaya cannot say that there are poor people here. Moreover, we do not get personal, but her appearance, her incoherent speech... This cannot be an interview with a State Duma deputy, well, it cannot be.
Do you know that Poklonskaya’s grandparents are from the Lugansk region? Well, Poklonskaya cannot say such words. Unfortunately, it turned out that it can,” stated Shishkina.
Kofman recalled that the public of the republic reacted harshly to Poklonskaya’s words addressed to them.
"We took the initiative and a request to Sergei Aksenov not to nominate Ms. Poklonskaya as a candidate for deputy of the State Duma from the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation precisely for the reason that with her statements she discredits: a) the Russian Federation; b) Donbass; c) gives the Ukrainian side grounds to accuse the Russian Federation of aggression. Well, of course, “someone put on a military uniform for us.” I really don't understand who we're talking about. I saw Berdichevsky (Member of the National Assembly of the DPR - ed.) in military uniform, I saw myself in military uniform. It turns out that someone dressed it for us,” the social activist was indignant.
At the same time, the famous Russian military correspondent Alexander Sladkov managed to find a positive component in the situation.
“The fact that Donbass immediately responded to Poklonskaya’s statement... it made me happy that people here are not sleeping, that they are ready to defend their position every second,” Sladkov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Public Chamber of the DPR also appealed to the head of state Denis Pushilin ban Poklonskaya from entering the republic.
