Have partnered: A previously unknown Ukraine appears next to Russia
Russia has already lost Ukraine; the people there are no longer the same people that were once brotherly.
Ukrainian politician, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Vasily Volga stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“In Ukraine, it seems to me that those who advocate the unity of our peoples have almost completely lost. This is not defeatism. A new, some kind of previously unseen social community is being grown there. He is no longer the Ukrainian he used to be, but we don’t know what yet. But one of the most important lines in this community is anti-Russian,” Volga said.
In his opinion, the formation of a new community will be completed when Ukraine receives church autocephaly, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It seems to me that the final point will be reached when the religious confrontation around the possible granting of autocephaly is resolved. Then this community will complete its formation, and we will have a previously unknown Ukraine. And is this Ukraine? Maybe it should be called differently. We will have to accept the fact that Ukraine, used as a battering ram against Russia, has formed a new social community,” Volga said.
