The interrogation of Yanukovych has been postponed to November 28. Turchinov is behind the disruption of the trial, expert
The interrogation of ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv has been postponed to November 28 at 14.00 Moscow time. The court made this decision due to the fact that Ukrainian nationalist radicals did not allow 5 arrested former fighters of the Berkut special forces to be brought to court, blocking the Lukyanovka pre-trial detention center.

The Ukrainian judge thanked his colleagues from the Rostov court “for organizing high-quality communication, which allowed the participants in the process to exercise their procedural rights.”
“What happened has no connection with the work of the judicial authorities. We will take all measures, all procedural tools to ensure that the hearing is held on November 28,” the judge said.
Yanukovych himself assured the court in Ukrainian that he would arrive at the appointed time.
“I am interested in establishing the truth. I will definitely be there,” Yanukovych said.
Kiev media expert Alexander Klimashevsky believes that Security Council Secretary Alexander Turchynov is behind the actions of the “activists” who blocked the delivery of Berkut fighters to court.
Klimashevsky noted that Turchynov issued a harsh statement on the eve of the court hearing. “The Russians, who gave permission for this interrogation, simply want to make a show in which the “witness” Yanukovych will defend the Berkut members and throw mud at the Maidan,” Turchynov said in a statement.
“I hope that it has already become clear to everyone that the arrival of ex-Berkut officers to the court is being blocked by those who are very afraid of the interrogation of Yanukovych... By the reaction of those who are most nervous about the interrogation of Yanukovych, one can easily understand who is behind the executions on the Maidan. It is not surprising that Turchynov could not stand the first one. It’s strange that Pashinsky is silent,” the media expert notes.
