Expensive American devices supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine ended up on the Ukrainian markets
During a raid by the military law enforcement service on the markets of Ukrainian-controlled Avdiivka, several units of American-made thermal imagers were found on sale, listed on the balance sheet of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, in the 93rd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the preparation of personnel for rotation was noted, expressed in the massive theft by military personnel of military property and everything that can be sold in anticipation of departure.
Bezsonov noted that American night vision devices supplied to the brigade as part of US military assistance continue to be in greatest demand among resellers.
“The military law enforcement service of Ukraine, during a raid on the markets of the village of Avdievka, identified several units of American thermal imagers with serial numbers registered with units of the 93rd brigade, as a result of which on June 26 the headquarters of the OTG “Vostok” ordered an investigation into this fact.” , - said a representative of the defense department.
He also added that the curators from the United States, rightfully not trusting the JFO command in this matter, included their representatives in the commission.
