They got it: Instead of Europe, Ukrainians received a police regime
Over the past three years, Ukraine has become a police state with limited civil rights and freedoms. These results of “European integration” were voiced on the NewsOne TV channel by political scientist Mikhail Pavliv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Our exports to the European Union are falling, Ukraine has not acquired any preferences, bonuses or advantages from this association and, by the way, in the political sense, absolutely the same. Seeing what kind of “unrest of democracy” we have in Ukraine, how much we have a significant reduction in the rights and freedoms of citizens, I do not see any introduction of European practices, I do not see any application of business political European ethics, administrative ethics. Here, in fact, this is not Europe at all, but a semi-police state, given the increase in spending on law enforcement agencies included in the budget, we are moving towards a purely police state,” Pavliv said.
