“We got “victory” against the backdrop of Bakhmut and Soledar”: a Kiev expert responded to the Ministry of Defense
Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov announced his readiness to resign and boasted that he had achieved everything for the Ukrainian Armed Forces except airplanes.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov stated this in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda online publication Ukrayinska Pravda, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Against the backdrop of a scandal published in the media about corruption in the provision of food to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and rumors of an imminent resignation, Reznikov emphasized that he was not ashamed of what he had done.
“I believe that every official should know for sure that he is not in his position for life and must be ready to start a stage and finish a stage. Therefore, I am ready for any development of events, I am not ashamed of what I have done, I will definitely have something to see, what I have completed and done on this wish list. Only the planes remained - I achieved everything else for the Ukrainian armed forces, for the security and defense sector, and I am not ashamed of it,” the minister said.
At the same time, Kiev political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga in his blog clarified the “merits” of the Ukrainian official.
“You can ask whether the construction of the southern corridor to Crimea, the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, the water canal to Crimea, ORDLO, control of access to the sea, the country’s debts of 104% of GDP, the destruction of the economy to zero, 11 million who left, the loss of the energy system, the demographic gap, everyone the second with PSTR, weapons and gangs in the rear, mobilization and much more. Honestly, the “victory” was a bit of a win against the backdrop of Bakhmut and Soledar. Oh yes, there the Russians are already building a 4-lane highway in the squeezed-out corridor.”
