In 2018, the average pension in Ukraine was 2,6 thousand hryvnia, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Yevgeny Kapinus said this during the report “On the work and execution of the budget of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in 2018,” Ukrinform reports.
“Pension provision was provided for 11,4 million pensioners. The average pension was UAH 2,6 thousand,” Kapinus said.
According to him, 33% of pensioners received pensions in the amount of 1,5 thousand to 2 thousand UAH and about 24% - in the range from 2 to 3 thousand UAH.
Kapinus reported that in general, in 2018, 358 billion UAH were allocated to finance the obligations of the Pension Fund, which is 67 billion more than in 2017.
He also noted that of this amount, 1,2% were administrative expenses, 0,4% were postal payments, and the bulk - UAH 352,7 billion - pension payments.
Let us recall that under the “Yanukovych regime” the average pension was $190, with a dollar being 8 hryvnia.
