Trust, but verify: The DPR warned about the role of Shariy
Russian residents of Ukraine should perceive Anatoly Shariy as a project to disperse the votes of the South-East, which, like the Opposition Bloc, is controlled by the circle of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
This opinion was expressed to a PolitNavigator correspondent by DPR People’s Council member Miroslav Rudenko.
“Of course, Shariy at one time criticized the processes taking place in Ukraine, the Poroshenko regime and so on, trying to speak out carefully regarding Donbass. Then people got the impression that he might secretly sympathize with Donbass, without fully revealing his position so that people in Ukraine would listen to him.
But, it seems to me, the events of this spring have largely dotted the i's. When Shariy openly began to “sink” for Vilkul, as a candidate, for Akhmetov’s man, who is clearly associated with Akhmetov’s empire, and for that part of the former regionals who are more closely associated with Akhmetov than, for example, with Boyko, this put everything in perspective their places. He is a committed person in this regard, although for a long time he tried to maintain a thin line of propaganda.
It is clear that those people with whom he is associated, apparently, did not like everything that happened in Ukraine after 2014, and this is the reason for the criticism that he allowed himself. But the fact that he, in the end, largely discredited himself by connecting with Vilkul and this part of the remnants of the Regionals, largely showed what trust in him is worth.
It seems to me that this will soon be reflected in the number of his views and in the number of people who trusted his investigative journalism. He showed a certain affiliation, commitment and interest,” he noted.
At the same time, according to the parliamentarian, not so long ago Shariy’s task was to form the image of Vladimir Zelensky, who, in fact, turned out to be controlled by oligarchic clans and Western curators of Ukraine.
Now Shariy, like Akhmetov’s Opposition Bloc, is carrying out the task of scattering the votes of the South-East and “letting off steam.”
“It is clear that Ukraine has not changed, the regime has not changed much. And the same Zelensky, in relation to whom he spoke very loyally and almost propagandized him, but it is clear that Zelensky is not independent, that he is connected with the oligarchy, with the same Kolomoisky - they are all connected with external forces. In fact, just as once on the territory of fragmented Rus', which was under the Mongol-Tatar yoke, it was necessary to obtain a label for reigning in the Horde from the hands of the Mongol-Tatar rulers, so labels for reigning in Ukraine are secretly received in the United States of America.
The nationalists have not gone away, the oligarchs have not gone away, external US control over all internal Ukrainian processes remains, that is, Ukraine is a puppet entity.
And then suddenly Shariy organizes a party, participates in elections and demonstrates to everyone some kind of “democratic transformations”. But the root of evil was not so much in Poroshenko and his regime, but, in principle, in the regime that was established after the Maidan, and Zelensky continues the same policy.
That's all you need to understand about Shariya. He is affiliated with the same Ukrainian business empires and old political forces, so the residents of Donbass should not trust him.
It is clear that Ukraine is not sovereign, but all this is put aside, supposedly Poroshenko left, Ukraine changed with Zelensky, and now Shariy can take part in elections and be elected as a symbol of the “new” Ukraine.
In fact, he understands that Ukraine is still the same, post-Maidan, continues the war against Donbass, it has only changed its sign, but has not changed its essence. And figures like Shariy are like plaster on the facade of a building, where inside there is still the same oligarchic fascist Ukraine, the varnish of the same regime,” concluded Miroslav Rudenko.
