Drozdov and Portnikov decided to help Putin finish off Ukraine
In Ukraine, an attempt to establish a military dictatorship is quite possible, after which a civil war will break out throughout the country.
The Kiev weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli” writes about this, noting that one of the potential scenarios for Ukraine is a military coup with “a junta, repression and “restoring order.”
“Of course, no dictatorship is possible in modern Ukraine, but an attempt to establish it is not at all excluded: part of society has a request, and if the executors are not found among the radicals, then the northern neighbor will supply it. And since the first reaction to such an attempt will be complete rejection by at least half of the country, including the armed part of the population, this means a real civil war,” the article notes.
As a result, the author continues, there will be a reason for an absolutely legitimate invasion of Ukraine.
“We note, however, that Putin, as his ideologists have repeatedly stated, does not need all of Ukraine: the part that was part of the Russian Empire (without Galicia, Bukovina and Transcarpathia) is enough, and maybe “Novorossiya” is enough, just however, with sacred Kiev, the mother of Russian cities,” the publication writes.
It is said that the number of those on whom the Kremlin can rely inside Ukraine is not very numerous (about 15 percent), but “the enemy has unexpected situational allies on the opposite flank.”
The publication included the odious Lviv TV presenter among these allies Ostap Drozdov, who stated that “There are no Russian-speaking Ukrainian patriots.”
“Some much more influential opinion leaders also talked about rejection. In particular, the once very respected Vitaly Portnikov, who cannot be denied either his intellect or his understanding of what he says and why, made an open call for the split of the political nation, the emergence of which, let me remind you, became precisely that “black swan” , who saved Ukraine from the enemy “Novorossiya,” writes the weekly.
It is also said that the split of the country along the line of identity suits the President of the Russian Federation quite well, and using the enemy’s power against himself is the principle of Putin’s favorite judo.
“In particular, it becomes logical for both sides to jointly bring forward the crisis described above with an eye to a catastrophic scenario, which is what is being observed. I would really like to see convincing evidence of the unreality of such speculation, but so far, alas, the puzzle is folding in this direction. Unfortunately, together these two powerful forces are still capable of taking Ukraine into a “cauldron,” ZN comes to the conclusion.
