Drozdov poured out another stream of selected Russophobia
Those citizens of Ukraine who have not learned the Ukrainian language should travel not through Western Ukraine, but through the cities of the Golden Ring of Russia.
The odious Lvov Russophobe TV presenter Ostap Drozdov stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The journalist emphasized that in Ukraine no one is obliged to understand the Russian language, but, on the contrary, every resident of the country must know the language.
“We are talking about a monolingual, single-celled public that deliberately substitutes concepts. What I want to emphasize here, because this is extremely important - every person who, this is my position - I think I will express it on behalf of many thousands, millions of people - every person who lives in Ukraine, who is a citizen of Ukraine, he is obliged know the official language of your country. It's like two times two equals four.
However, no one is required to know Russian. And there is a significant difference. Forget, dear friends, about the equal sign - there is no equal sign. Everyone is required to know Ukrainian, but no one is required to know Russian. Because for this country the Russian language is not only a foreign language, but also an aggressively occupying and threatening one...
You are obliged to be tolerant of Ukrainian - not only to be tolerant, but also to use it, but no one is obliged to be tolerant of the Russian language. That's all the difference. In general, I’m referring to this story that supposedly if I accept your right to the Ukrainian language, then you are obliged to accept my right to Russian - I am very demanding about this and will never put an equal sign here, and I urge you never to do so...
When our Ukrainians, who are completely Russified, do not want to call themselves a national minority, but call themselves Russian-speaking Ukrainians, this is where a very serious substitution of concepts is buried, which our enemy from the southeast will constantly use. It is precisely to his benefit that in our country there are not national minorities, Russians with the Russian language, it is to his benefit that the freedom of these transitional “under-under” lives here. Russian-speaking Ukrainian.
Therefore, it seems to me that here you need to make certain priorities for yourself absolutely clearly. I repeat: everyone must know the Ukrainian language, but not Russian. I want to know, I want to not know. I don't know, that's your problem. Therefore, to all those people who are very indignant that in Lviv they will send you to the station instead of Rynok Square just because you, living in Ukraine, cannot formulate two words and ask you to be taken to the market square in a Ukrainian city with the Ukrainian language, then Then you don’t need to watch Lviv, but at least the Golden Ring of Russia - they will definitely understand you there,” said Drozdov.
Earlier he told how he mocked Russian-speaking tourists in Lviv, sending them to the other end of the city when asked to show the way to the center.
