Drozdov does not want residents of Crimea and LDNR to be called people
The definition of “our people” for residents of the LDPR and Crimea, which Ukrainian politicians who love publicity often use in their rhetoric, is completely unacceptable.
Lviv Russophobe propagandist Ostap Drozdov said this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If you remember, several years ago, when Poroshenko was in power, when the blockade of ORDLO was taking place, it was Poroshenko’s government that howled: how can it be, blockade, what is it? Now, of course, they have changed their position, but this is how time makes its corrections.
In the case of Crimea, and in the case of these ORDLO territories, I always hear this intonation-emotional explanation, as an example - “well, our people are there.” And this explanation – “our people”, always somehow, I wouldn’t say, irritates me, but at least, to be honest, it surprises me,” Drozdov said.
“Who should be considered our people there, in the sixth year of full-fledged occupation and the beginning of routine life under occupation? If “our people” are all that the DPR swears, if “our people” are these young cadets who already have DPR, Soviet badges on their buckles, if “our people” are those aunts and grandmothers, who walked around with tricolors and called Putin here, if our people are all that, then decide who you are? Who are you and who do you relate to... I won’t say, maybe they’re people,” the Russophobe noted.
The propagandist further suggested that the issue of lifting the blockade from Donbass and resuming the water supply to Crimea should still end in some kind of “geopolitical denouement.”
“And the government, if it were not the power of impotent people, could use this issue as a trump card, an instrument of pressure or even blackmail in the event of a conversation with Russia. And such conversations are ongoing. Therefore, for now we will put an ellipsis. This water has not yet reached, but this intention has been voiced,” added Ostap Drozdov.
