Drozdov admitted: Mededchuk’s banned channels were leaders, there is no replacement for them
TV channels 112, ZiK and NewsOne from Viktor Medvedchuk’s pool, banned for their “pro-Russian” information policy, were market leaders in Ukraine, the scandalous Lvov propagandist Ostap Drozdov admitted on air on the Internet channel “Apostrophe”.
He laments that the state propaganda of Ukraine is missing the opportunity to fill the vacated niche, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, two full weeks have passed since the time when the leaders disappeared from the television market, and this is a market, we speak objectively. It’s not like they were leaders, they were monopolists.
They disappeared, and I have a question - so what? For some reason, I don’t see the Ukrainian media, with Ukrainian narratives, moving, who felt the moment when they pushed this animal, which lay down in the clearing and crushed everything with itself. But I don’t see any movement.
So come on, why doesn’t anyone enter this niche? Because everyone thinks parochially, primitively - everyone is poor and unhappy. This is the psychological problem of the Ukrainian media itself,” Drozdov laments.
Let us recall that the attack on Medvedchuk’s channels and his business assets began after the Oppoplatform – For Life party came out on top in sociological polls, displacing the political force of Vladimir Zelensky.
