Drozdov: War is useful for Ukrainians so they don’t forget that Russia is an enemy
A full-scale “attack” by Russia would be very useful for Ukraine, where a significant part of the population still refuses to see the Russians as enemies.
Lvov journalist Ostap Drozdov, who promotes Russophobia, stated this on the YouTube channel of Ukrainian TV presenter Sergei Doiko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Will Putin attack? He attacked already 7 years ago. For me this is the current reality. Although I did not immediately enter into it, like any normal person who is accustomed to a measured, peaceful, urban life with theaters, exhibitions and trips abroad.
I feel a huge threat [of attack], it really is. This may sound cynical, but the part of our population that still does not understand basic things - who the enemy is, who we are, is probably sometimes needed. This is such a terrible historical, such a vendetta, so that the brains finally fall into place,” Drozdov said.
He criticized those who refuse to consider Russia an “aggressor.”
“We talked about the “fifth column” - so many rear rats who live on some other planet. I don’t know what motivates those people who don’t see Russia as an enemy. The whole world sees, but here they shoot on your land, and you continue to walk around thinking about some fraternal peoples. And in general, such a large number of people who don’t understand anything, it seems to me that it’s impossible to teach a lesson differently,” the Russophobe reasoned.
At the same time, the TV presenter warmly supported the position of the Lviv journalist.
