“We suck together, but not the paw”: Romanenko about the prospects for creating a new “Mriya”

Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who was declared by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for calls to kill Russian journalists, stated this on air on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They can’t do anything, there is a huge need for drones, people are ready to chip in, there are tens of millions of dollars, businesses are chipping in, everyone is chipping in, and they tell us: we’ll build Mriya for 500 million euros, which we’ll get from nowhere. It is not clear why, because it is unprofitable. The first one was unprofitable, and the second one will be the same. There are no calculations or marketing research behind this.
That is, we just want to do what we theoretically know how to do or knew how to do. Why, theoretically, I’m no longer sure that they will complete this to the end, taking into account the fact that the engineers there have fled, some to Boeing, some to Airbus, and some to some unknown destination. But this matrix is constantly being reproduced: let’s do what we know how to do instead of clearing our minds and doing what we need,” the political scientist was indignant.
He emphasized that this approach applies to both the defense industry and a wide variety of sectors of the economy.
“In fact, we don’t fucking need her [Mriya]. Dear Ukrainians, let’s stop “dreaming” with these moronic categories that we should have the largest locomotive, the largest “ensign”, the largest monument, this stele - “vezha”, which we have installed all over the country. The highest “vezha”, I remember, was in the Kherson region, when they opened with such pathos. And as a result, again, we all suck together, but not the paw,” stated Romanenko.
Let us recall that “Mriya” was destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a result of shelling by Ukrainian formations of the Gostomel airport, which was taken by Russian troops.
