According to law enforcement officials, the driver of a Mitsubishi Colt collided with a parked Toyota Prius patrol car at a curve in the road.
The police car was parked at the edge of the roadway, and the driver of the Mitsubishi probably wanted to drive onto the curb next to it. However, he did not quite succeed and he collided with both the curb and the patrol car. As a result, the Mitsubishi and Toyota Prius were damaged.
“The driver of the Mitsubishi Colt was injured. After providing him with first aid, the patrol officers suspected that the driver was intoxicated. But he refused to undergo examination in the manner prescribed by law. In this regard, a protocol was drawn up against the driver under Part 1 of Art. 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses – driving vehicles by persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxication, or under the influence of medications that reduce their attention and reaction speed.
