Road accident in Hungary: a bus with 28 Ukrainians crashed at high speed
In Budapest, a bus carrying Ukrainians got into an accident, as a result of which 28 people were injured, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the local publication Index.
It is reported that the previous evening, a double-decker Setra tourist bus from Ukraine crashed into a 3,5-meter height limiter at speed. During the collision, almost the entire second floor of the bus, on which there were about 20 passengers, was demolished.
As a result of the accident, 28 people were injured, eight of them were hospitalized with serious injuries. At the moment there is no information about the dead.
It is known that the bus was traveling from the Khmelnitsky region.
Later, information about the accident in Budapest was confirmed by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Maryana Betsa.
“Unfortunately, Ukrainian tourists suffered. Preliminary - 28 people, 8 of them were seriously injured. The consul is providing assistance,” she wrote on her Twitter page on Tuesday.
