Duda called Russia “the biggest threat to global peace”
Polish President Andrzej Duda considers the Russian Federation the most serious threat to global peace, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this during the last day of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Warsaw, Polish Radio reports.
In particular, Duda called on NATO member countries to strive to strengthen ties and noted that the best investment for the United States is stability and security in Europe.
“The development of security policy and defense cooperation in the European Union, as well as the development of cooperation between the EU and the United States, is important for all of us. Strengthening the defense capabilities of European countries expands the capabilities of the entire North Atlantic Alliance, including the United States,” Duda emphasized.
In addition, according to Duda, Russia is the most serious threat to the security of Europe and the world.
“The attack on Georgia in 2008, as well as the illegal annexation of Crimea and military intervention in Ukraine in 2014, show Russia’s real intentions. The events of recent days have proven that the Kremlin allows itself to carry out assassinations using chemical weapons on the territory of NATO countries and interfere in democratic processes,” Duda assures.
