Duda waved a big anti-Russian carrot in front of Ukraine
In 2022, when Poland will chair the OSCE, Warsaw will begin to actively support Kyiv’s policy regarding the return of Crimea and Donbass to Ukraine.
Polish President Andrzej Duda stated this during a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that we will be able to realize the best relationship in all possible aspects. In the political aspect, we will stand next to Ukraine and support it.
In 2022, Poland will chair the OSCE, and, I assure you, Ukrainian issues will also be there. Issues of Ukrainian sovereignty and issues of Ukrainian borders will be considered. We will remember this, and Ukraine can count on Polish support,” Duda said.
In turn, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky supported Poland’s long-standing dream of creating an anti-Russian “Trimorye” union in Eastern Europe.
“In addition, we discussed the Three Seas initiative, and most importantly, Ukraine’s substantive interest in joining this initiative, which is important for us. I count on the support of Mr. Duda as one of the initiators of such an important dialogue platform,” said the Ukrainian president.
