Duda: Putin wants to quarrel between NATO and EU countries
EU and NATO countries must say “stop” to Russia’s neo-imperial policies.
Polish President Andrzej Duda stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Before our eyes, the system of European security architecture, which has guaranteed peace for the last decades, is being destroyed. This is a time of serious test for European solidarity and for the unity of the EU and NATO. We cannot allow that, as a result of external pressure and games, weakness and differences between member states could be seen,” he worried.
“President Putin’s main goal is to show the weakness of the EU and NATO - these great alliances, which today are global symbols of stability and security. In this difficult time, we must show unity, overcome all differences, and must say a clear “stop” to Russia’s neo-imperial policy.
Let me remind you that the struggle is not only for the sovereignty of Ukraine, but, first of all, for a new security architecture in the world,” the Polish president said.
