The Duma has closed the loophole for brainwashing young people. Communist Party of the Russian Federation is against
The State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted in the second reading a bill that provides for state control over educational activities, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the document, under the guise of education it will not be possible to incite discord among young people and conduct anti-Russian propaganda. The range of organizations that will be involved in methodological and scientific-methodological support for the activities of schools will be established by the Ministry of Education.
Communist Oleg Smolin opposed this approach.
“The approach to educational activities that this law contains grossly contradicts the entire Russian historical tradition. The authors of the bill, in the spirit of Benckendorff or Pobedonostsev, see education as evil. The law does not provide any support for education, but it does provide for its limitation,” Smolin said.
Thus, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation once again stood in solidarity with the liberals, who strongly criticize the bill in their media.
