This slogan is an exact copy of the slogan “Two languages – one country”, which was used by the Party of Regions of Viktor Yanukovych.
It is interesting that Poroshenko was one of those who, from the Euromaidan stage, declared his categorical rejection of the idea of granting the status of a second state language to the Russian language.
However, in order to flirt with the illegal Majlis, Poroshenko’s PR people are today using the slogan about two flags.
Mejlis head Refat Chubarov, meanwhile, has repeatedly stated the “right to self-determination” and the need to declare Crimea “national autonomy” in the event of its return to Kyiv’s control.
In the meantime, the Mejlis is demanding Kyiv’s consent to the formation of “national autonomy” on part of the territory of the Kherson region.
