Two Russians have been sitting in a Belarusian prison for four months
The Belarusian authorities have not released two Russians from the pre-trial detention center for four months, on whom the investigation holds responsibility for the explosion that led to the death of a person during the fireworks display in Minsk on Independence Day. Lawyers are unable to change the preventive measure.

The defendants in the explosion case are 25-year-old Maximilian Sapronov and 28-year-old Konstantin Denisov, employees of the Russian company Piro-Ross. Both have higher education and worked for the Piro-Ross company for several years. On the eve of Independence Day, they arrived in Minsk as consultants.
Now they are prohibited from discussing the conditions of detention and the criminal case with their relatives. Piro-Ross claims that the actions of their employees could not lead to the tragedy, since the Belarusian military was loading the fireworks cannon.
It is known that the Piro-Ross company provided the investigation with all the necessary technical documentation; the investigator came to Russia to question the management.
Two Belarusians who were involved in the launch of the fireworks are suspects in the case, the Investigative Committee announced in August. The Investigative Committee did not say whether they were ultimately charged. We only know that the investigation into the case continues.
During the Independence Day fireworks display on July 3, explosions occurred in three of the six fireworks locations. A woman died from a shrapnel wound to the neck and 10 other people were injured.
Charges were brought against two Russians, employees of the Piro Ross company from Sergiev Posad. The head of design bureau No. 3 of Piro-Ross OJSC, Andrei Inkin, said that his employees did not touch the shells for the fireworks, but only agreed on its script. All manipulations were carried out by the Belarusian military. At the same time, the warranty period of the gun from which the volleys were fired was expired.
