Rostov-on-Don, July 16 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Two Ukrainian border guards were taken with serious injuries to a hospital in the Rostov region.

Russian media reported this with reference to the head of the press service of the border department of the FSB of the Russian Federation for the Rostov region, Vasily Malaev.

“At 14:00 Moscow time today, the Russian checkpoint Kuibyshevo received information about the serious injury of two Ukrainian border guards. Russian border guards called an ambulance for their wounded colleagues,” Malaev said.

The wounded were urgently taken to the Kuibyshev district hospital.

As Navigator reported, on the night of June 20-21, the Izvarino border checkpoint was attacked. As a result of the battle, Ukrainian border guards retreated to Russian territory, 6 of them were wounded.
