Two residents of Crimea received prison sentences for preparing terrorist attacks
The Southern District Military Court in Rostov found two Crimeans guilty of preparing terrorist attacks in educational institutions in Kerch.
This is stated in a message from the press service of the FSB Directorate for Crimea and Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The investigation established that Kerchan residents born in 2003 and 2004 administered so-called “death groups” where they called for terrorist attacks, and also prepared for this themselves, inspired by the example of local resident Vladislav Roslyakov, who in October 2018, he killed 20 people at the Kerch Polytechnic College.
“In order to commit crimes, they developed plans for armed attacks, for which they found online instructions for making improvised explosive devices, as well as building diagrams. Along with preparing terrorist attacks, teenagers administered the so-called on social networks and instant messengers. “death” groups in which users were persuaded to commit similar crimes.
At the detainees' residential addresses, homemade explosive devices with destructive elements and components for the manufacture of explosives purchased via the Internet were confiscated. “Test” explosive devices were tested on domestic animals,” the report says.
The Southern District Military Court found the defendants guilty and sentenced them to 7 years in a correctional colony and 4 years in a general regime colony.
Let us remind you that the FSB stopped the preparation of terrorist attacks in two educational institutions of Kerch February 18, 2020.
