Donetsk, January 19 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) –  During the fighting in Donetsk and on its outskirts, the Ukrainian military lost 200 people killed and wounded in two days.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense of the DPR Eduard Bakurin, commenting on the current situation in the city and the course of hostilities.

According to him, Ukrainian troops lost two tanks, one of which was captured in good condition. Also destroyed were 4 infantry fighting vehicles and 7 armored personnel carriers.

“Losses in manpower, including killed and captured, are about 200 people,” he said. Militia losses amounted to 30 wounded and 7 dead.

As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday information appeared that Ukrainian troops were trying to break into the city, as a result of which the Putilov Bridge was blown up.
