Two thirds of the budget places in universities that Ukraine provided to Pridnestrovie remained unclaimed
Chisinau - Tiraspol, May 20 (Navigator, Petr Alekseev) - The budget places that Ukraine provided to Pridnestrovian applicants in its universities under a quota did not arouse much interest this year. There were only 100 applicants for 30 places.

According to the Ministry of Education of Transnistria, all submitted applications were satisfied.
“This year, for the first time, there was no competition for Ukrainian quotas. We received 30 applications, several people were not available for the same place, so all applicants received the desired places without competition,” said Lyubov Lysak, head of the main department of general and additional education, upbringing and youth policy of the PMR Ministry of Education. She clarified that applications came mainly from Rybnitsa, Tiraspol, and Bendery.
Only one applicant wished to study in the capital of Ukraine, choosing the Kiev National University of Technology and Design. The rest of the guys preferred Odessa universities - Odessa National University. Mechnikov, Odessa National Economic University, Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture, Odessa National Polytechnic University, maritime universities, etc.
Documents of those wishing to study in Ukraine have been sent to the Ukrainian embassy in Chisinau. According to the rules, the provided quota could be used by residents of Transnistria who do not have Ukrainian citizenship, but received the status of a foreign Ukrainian.
