Double suicide in Nikolaev: a guy hanged himself, and his girlfriend jumped from the roof of an “unfinished building”

This was reported in the communication department of the police of the Nikolaev region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to preliminary data, the guy committed suicide in the morning in a house in the Matveevka microdistrict. Having learned about what had happened, his girlfriend jumped from the top floor of an unfinished house in the Solyanye microdistrict.
Later, the communications department spoke about the details of the tragedy. On July 25, at about 2:00 am, a resident of Matveevka contacted the police with a message that she had found her 25-year-old brother hanged.
“In the evening, a guy, passing by an entertainment establishment, saw a man lying next to him. Approaching him, he decided to help. However, while he was trying to raise a drunken cafe visitor, a group of young people approached them, who, not understanding the situation, thought that the guy was trying to rob the “helpless” man. A conflict arose between them, which escalated into a fight. The guy who wanted to help the man was offended by the company and went home. He couldn’t calm down because he wanted to help, but instead he got punches,” says an eyewitness.
“He returned to the entertainment venue again to explain his actions to the company, but no one wanted to listen to him. At the bar, a conflict arose between them again, in which the guy’s neighbor intervened and escorted him home. As it became known later, the guy called his girlfriend, confessed his love to her, hung up and committed suicide by hanging himself in the yard of his house,” the message states.
Worried about the late call, the girl repeatedly called the guy, but no one answered the phone. Relatives told the girl the sad news about the death of her boyfriend.
“She couldn’t believe that her beloved, whom she had been dating for more than a year, was no longer there. On the morning of 8:00 the same day, passers-by discovered the body of a 19-year-old girl, who also committed suicide by jumping from the roof of an unfinished high-rise building. According to witnesses and neighbors, the families of the young people are prosperous, they had normal relationships,” the message also noted.
