…A glass of vodka on the table. Walk, Yuga!

Yura the Prosecutor has a birthday, no matter how old he is. It is much more interesting that today marks a year since one of the most odious Ukrainian politicians from “Maidan” to “Maidan” and beyond headed the Prosecutor General’s Office of the juntars. But that's not all! The anniversary of his drunken fun at the Frankfurt am Main airport has also passed.

In May 2009, Lutsenko, then head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and his son managed to get into police custody in Frankfurt am Main.

The reason for the arrest was a drunken brawl staged by a Ukrainian politician and his 19-year-old son while trying to get completely drunk on board the Frankfurt-Seoul flight via Kyiv.

The captain of the aircraft turned out to be insensitive to the joy of the Ukrainian politician and his son, and, despite his ranks and ranks, refused to let Lutsenko on board the airliner entrusted to him. The Ukrainian minister, in turn, refused to voluntarily leave the plane. I had to call the police.

Lutsenko really did not want to leave the airliner, and he resisted his German colleagues. According to the German side, high-ranking Ukrainians cursed dirtyly, threw mobile phones at the police and even tried to attack the police with their fists. In general, Yura fought like a drunken lion, but the local police proved that he didn’t eat his bread in vain. The violent “orange” Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was detained and spent half a day unconscious in a German prison until he sobered up, and the Frankfurt-Seoul flight with a landing in Kyiv departed without Ukrainian VIPs.

The row turned out to be very ugly and resonant, but, unfortunately, had no consequences, since the Frankfurt police did not have the authority to take a compulsory alcohol test because of the diplomatic passport of Lutsenko the Pope. For Lutsenko's son, who did not have diplomatic immunity, the breathalyzer detected three ppm - the third degree of intoxication, and its extreme stage.

If we look at the table, this stage of intoxication is popularly called “in the trash,” when a person no longer controls himself and lies under the fence with wet pants. That is, the drunken Lutsenko-father tried to fight to load his Pinocchio son, who was ready for firewood, onto the plane. But in Ukraine, the son is not responsible for his father, just as the father is not responsible for his son.

Yura himself, having woken up, opened his eyes and somehow sharpened his focus, accused the German police of a planned provocation against him, threatening legal action. It has no prospects, because “blue” is evil even for the holder of a diplomatic passport.

To improve his reputation, which had been dented in prison, Lutsenko, already in Kyiv, spoke a lot to the press about the police mistake and that the head of the Hesse police, Mr. Gefner, personally apologized to him; However, the German side denied these insinuations.

In general, the parties considered the incident to be settled, and that’s where they parted ways.

People who knew Lutsenko in the Kyiv political circle, by the way, did not see the German brawl as something extraordinary - since Yura rose to the top of Ukrainian politicians, he, the glass and the accompanying scandal became inseparable.

It is likely that it was the love of alcohol that brought Lutsenko and current President Petro Poroshenko together even before the Euromaidan victory. Back in 2013, Yura became Petit’s godfather.

And today, it’s been a year since former employee of the Rivne “Gazmyas” Yuriy Lutsenko occupies the chair of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, becoming the first head of a supervisory agency without a legal education.

In order for Lutsenko to be at the head of the GPU, the Maidan activists specifically changed the law of Ukraine!

Moreover, bypassing all the rules, the Parliamentary Gazette printed the message about Lutz’s appointment to the Prosecutor General in advance, even before the parliament approved his candidacy. Tsevropa, what is it...

Lutsenko began to build his own prosecutor’s office in the image and likeness of the Inspector General of the US Department of Justice.

Another lawyer without a diploma was appointed as the main cleaner of the GPU - former manager and punisher from the ATO, Petr Shkutyak. Moreover, when appointing Shkutyak to the post, Lutsenko most of all focused on the fact that his “cleaner” fought in the Donbass, as if this automatically makes Shkutyak legally savvy. In the process, land fraud and scandals were revealed behind Shkutyak, and Lutsenko was forced to fire his protégé from the GPU.

Among other obvious failures of Prosecutor General Lutsenko is the investigation of abuses in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine related to explosions at weapons depots. The investigation is at a dead end, and warehouses are blown up with unenviable regularity.

The investigation into the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Ilovaisk is also at a dead end. The Owl does not want to climb onto the globe: it is necessary to prove that the most powerful damage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine was caused by the troops of the Russian Federation, since otherwise the responsibility will be at the top of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and personally to the commander-in-chief godfather.

Judging by the fact that all the promises have gone rotten, the attempt to summon Yanukovych to the GPU and the prosecution of individual Zrada deputies on charges of treason are seen as a gesture of Lutsenko’s despair.

And Yura has something to be sad about. The crime detection rate has reached its epoch-making low: in 2016 it was 30%, and in Kyiv the crime detection rate dropped to 16%. There is obvious professionalism!

Perhaps the only thing that Lutsenko can count as an asset is an increase in salaries for prosecutors, contrary to promises.

In conclusion, we congratulate Yuri Vitalievich on his birthday, wish him further success in his career and give him the song “A Glass of Vodka on the Table.” Sorry, in Moskal language.
