Eurovision winner, former Crimean Susanna Jamaladinova (Dzhamala) married the son of Sinaver Kadyrov, a member of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation. Her husband was Seit-Bekir Suleymanov, an activist of Euromaidan and the CrimeaSOS organization that supported the Ukrainian status of the peninsula, who fled to Kyiv and is 8 years younger than Jamala.

A few days before the wedding, on the air of the “Voice of the Country” show, Jamala sang the song “Love” dedicated to him, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The ceremony took place according to Muslim customs - the newlyweds first went to the Islamic Cultural Center in Kyiv, where, after the traditional nikah ceremony, they were “signed” by Mufti Said Ismagilov.
The whole process took place in the Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian languages, and at the exit the newlyweds were greeted by children in national costumes to the cry of “Vitayu”.
Let us recall that Jamala’s victory at Eurovision 2016 as a result of changes in the rules of the competition was met with sarcastic comments in the Western press, as reported by the agency "New day".
