Dzhangirov: Moscow warned the EU that it does not vouch for the unpredictable Lukashenko
The Kremlin gently hinted to “Western partners” that, against the backdrop of the ongoing migration crisis, it would be more costly for them to drive Belarus into a hopeless situation.
Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the YouTube channel “Capital”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“Lukashenko says: the Poles will block the border, and I will cut off the gas for them. He repeated it again. This time the Kremlin commented as follows: Peskov said that the Kremlin would not even want to talk about the hypothetical situation of stopping gas transit from Belarus to Europe; they hope that the difficult situation in Belarus will not lead to a failure in fulfilling Russian obligations to gas consumers in the EU.
This is such a multi-valued statement, but we understand that there is also a hint in the sense that there is no need to drive Belarus into a difficult situation. When it becomes very complicated, we cannot vouch for Alexander Grigorievich. You know how unpredictable he is here,” Dzhangirov said.
