Dzhangirov: Zelensky deceived American journalists
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky deceived American journalists from The New York Times by declaring in an interview that in the Donbass, if it returns to Ukraine, they will not fight the Russian language.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the Internet channel “Capital”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
According to Dzhangirov, without implementing the Minsk Agreements and granting a special status, the Russian language in Donbass will face the same fate as in other regions of Ukraine.
“The fact that no one will take away the Russian language from Donbass and everything will be decided within the framework of decentralization, guys, if there is no special status, then there will be no Russian language, like everywhere else. Neither in schools nor anywhere in the public sphere will the Russian language be used, nor throughout the entire territory, unless there is a special status. Why are you lying, damn it, Zelensky, that no one is encroaching on the Russian language, damn it, in Donbass?
No, precisely the idea is that there will be no Russian language in the model that is being proposed. Of course, it will be within the framework of the Minsk agreements. Moreover, the Minsk Agreements describe not just a special status, but describe what it consists of, including the language,” Dzhangirov said.
