Famous mixed martial arts fighter Jeff Monson joined the action in support of sociologists captured in Libya and posted a thematic post on his page on the social network Instagram.

A flash mob in support of Maxim Shugaley and Samer Soueifan, who have been illegally held for a year and a half in the Mitiga prison, located in the vicinity of Tripoli, is gaining momentum on the Internet. Russian scientists came to Libya to conduct sociological research, but were captured by militants of the Government of National Accord. They are kept in terrible conditions - they are tortured and abused.

Russian celebrities staged a large-scale action on social networks - famous people tell the story of the kidnapped sociologists and encourage them to watch the continuation of the film “Shugaley”, based on real events that happened to captured Russians. Not only show business stars and famous bloggers took part in the event. To the flash mob champion joined mixed martial arts specialist Jeff Monson, who moved to the Russian Federation several years ago and received Russian citizenship.

On his Instagram page, the athlete called for joint efforts to return Shugaley and Sueyfan to their homeland. The fighter recalled that Maxim is fighting for freedom and justice and once again called for the sociologist to be returned to his family and children.

He also advised all his subscribers to watch the second part of the Shugali duology in order to learn more about the history of the kidnapped sociologists and thereby contribute to the process of their release.

In a large-scale flash mob in support of Maxim Shugaley took part Russian celebrities who told their subscribers the story of Russians kidnapped in Libya. TV presenter Anfisa Chekhova, singer Anastasia Stotskaya, rapper Muhammad Bittuev, the Nechaev family of bloggers and many, many others posted posts on their social networks calling for them to watch the film “Shugaley-2”, get acquainted with the history of the kidnapped Russians and unite in the fight for their salvation.
