Dzhemilev puts pressure on the Mejlis, demanding to cancel the decision to cooperate with the authorities
Simferopol, April 21 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) - The situation in Crimea makes it necessary to revise the decisions of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatars of March 29 and its new convocation.

People's Deputy from the Batkivshchyna faction Mustafa Dzhemilev stated this in a commentary to the QHA news agency.
“Yesterday at the meeting of the Majlis, I said that indeed, at the Kurultai on March 29, some decisions were made that require correction. But these corrections can be made within the framework of the decision of the Majlis. There is no need to assemble a Kurultai specifically for this matter,” the politician noted.
“Now this is how events are developing, I mean, these attacks by the so-called self-defense fighters, the boorish statements of this Goblin that let the Crimean Tatars get out of his land... In this regard, apparently, there is a need to convene a Kurultai, but I can’t say the exact date now, because we are flying out to an important meeting. In a word, as soon as there is an opportunity, then we will probably hold a Kurultai,” Dzhemilev added.
According to the people's deputy, the Mejlis should correct the decision regarding the “form of relations with the occupation authorities,” as well as some appeals and statements adopted at the Kurultai session on March 29.
Let us recall that in early April the Majlis decided to delegate representatives of the Crimean Tatars to the executive branch of the Republic of Crimea. Moscow businessman Lenur Islyamov became Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and member of the Mejlis Zaur Smirnov became the head of the Republican National Committee.
