About it reported the TV channel “112 Ukraine” from the hall of the Pechersk court, where Velilyaev’s case is being considered.
“We were at a meeting that concerned, so far, only one fighter of the Aidar battalion, Enver Velilyaev. Let us recall that the name of Enver Velilyaev appears in the GPU’s submission to lift parliamentary immunity from the ex-battalion commander of “Aidar”, People’s Deputy Melnichuk.
The GPU claims that Melnichuk created a criminal group, and note that battalion servicemen joined Melnichuk’s gang: Alexander Babich, Nikolai Lyashchuk, Nikolai Shtirkhun, Roman Elmes, Roman Kutuzov, Viktor Gerchak, Sergei Sur, Enver Velilyaev, as well as Roman Dvali and Alexander Babich.
According to the charges brought, the ex-battalion commander of “Aidar” faces life imprisonment.
Today Melnichuk said, that a number of people’s deputies are petitioning for the release of Aidar bandit Velilyaev under recognizance not to leave. A petition for the militant who kidnapped people was filed by Deputy Lapina, Deputy Solyar, as well as Mustafa Dzhemilev.
